Hi! I’m Jessica! Thanks for stopping by! I hope you’ll find encouragement here as I share my thoughts on faith, marriage, foster care, and our life as mid-twenties who seem to be doing things just a little bit differently than culture might expect.

Blogging is only a small part of my week – I work as a full time administrative assistant and Sunday operations coordinator at my church and have the privilege of teaching several flute students each week. I love good food, hitting up the gym, and process & organization.

I’m married to my high-school sweetheart, Eldon.

We’ve been married almost 5 years and love leading worship together, being active, and cooking. Eldon is a teacher and also a full time seminary student, and has a heart for people and for worship.

We are currently in the process of opening our home for foster care and are so excited to share that journey with you here!

  1. I Just read several of your posts and didn’t know which to comment on, I related to so many! Your writing is truly gifted, Jessica, and I’m looking forward to reading much more! The perspective through which you write everything points to Jesus and encourages me to keep pursuing Him more. Thank you for liking a post of mind so that God could lead me here! So much I needed to hear tonight through your blog. Blessings!
